Al Barwani
is keynote speaker

Tariq bin Hilal al Barwani, President of KnowledgeOman.com and
an IT expert, will be a keynote speaker at the first
international conference on security, privacy and
confidentiality issues in cyber law to be held in Egypt in
June. Al Barwani’s keynote presentation is titled, ‘penetrating
and hacking into security through people’ illustrating the
humanistic skill that every elite hacker uses to penetrate into
a person, computer, businesses and organisation as a whole in an
attempt to breach security.
The Computer Crime Research Centre (CCRC), the International
Association of Cyber Crime Prevention (AILCC) in France, The
High Tech Crime Institute (HTCI) in the United States, Ain Shams
University in Egypt and St Mary’s University School of Law —
Centre for Terrorism Law in the United States, are organising
the conference. The conference is an opportunity for academics
and consultants to exchange ideas and discuss the most recent
topics focusing on cyber law.
Bringing together leading academics from all over the world, the
conference will explore comparative approaches to intellectual
property and discuss privacy, information technology and other
cyber law issues. Experts will present papers focusing on
security, privacy and confidentiality in cyber law, including:
cyber crime, E-signature, E-commerce, freedom in cyber space,
E-government, conflict of laws, E- arbitration, Internet
jurisdiction, theory of cyber law, law of domain names,
telecommunication law, E-transactions and E-payment, human
trafficking, digital evidence, cyber terrorism and other
subjects focusing on cyber law.
