An Overwhelming response to CyberTalk

Oman’s first and only Information & Communication Technology Radio Talk Program, CyberTalk, has received tremendous response from the public since it was introduced last year jointly between the Ministry of Information and Tariq Hilal Al-Barwani, Oman’s promininet IT Expert.

“Our programme has attracted a lot of people, different ages, and genders from academic and professional industries. We are pleased to have worked with Tariq to introduce an innovative and education radio programme that has achieved remarkable results within a span of year”, said Sultan Al Aisri, English Programmes Director, Radio Sultanate of Oman.

CyberTalk presents the latest news in ICT, locally and globally, in which it features various topics including the mobile technology, market news, products and services, innovations, buyers’ guide, tips and tricks, Q&A, Quizzes and many more. Recently, the programme has also introduced a new section called “Interview with a Technocrat”, in which Tariq invites and discusses with IT leaders, experts, academics and professionals on their role in IT to boost the economic and generate the growth in the Sultanate.

Every week, Tariq discusses various topics related to IT from Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, Mobile Devices Computing, Relational Database Management System, Networking and Data Communication, Advanced Web and XML Technologies, Electronic Commerce, Microsoft.net framework, and Internet Security.
