Microsoft honours Tariq with MVP award (Times of Oman)

MUSCAT — Software giant Microsoft has honoured Tariq Hilal Al Barwani, the young IT expert from Oman with an international award, the ‘Most Valuable Professional’ recognition. Tariq is the first Omani to receive this honour for the last two consecutive years. The Microsoft MVP Award is an annual award that recognises exceptional technology community leaders worldwide who actively shares their high quality, real world expertise with users and Microsoft. “All of us at Microsoft recognise and appreciate Tariq’s extraordinary contributions. Tariq joins an exceptional group of individuals from around the world who have demonstrated a willingness to reach out, share their technical expertise with others and help individuals maximise their use of technology,” said Richarad Kaplan, vice-president at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond.
