Muscat - The www.ohitariq.net, Oman’s first and leading IT portal’s kids zone, a section that is fully dedicated to kids, has become quite a hit with the young netizens.

The new section focuses on education couple with entertainment.

Tariq AL Barawani, OHI Telecom Internet manager, noted that the puzzles, games and teaching tools offered would help the kids improve their education skills.

A variety of ‘edutainment’ software can be freely downloaded from www.ohitariq.net kids zone.

The educational section offers mathematical tools to aid in solving calculations. There are also interactive puzzles and games that are real brainteasers. There are fun games like Xmas Tree, Kids Jumble and US state capital that brings out a kids creative and mental ability. The site today has crossed over 1,769,890 hits since its launch in November, last year, and the number in increasing dramatically. The portal also offers other interesting areas such as IT jobs, products, latest news, guides, free downloads, IT conference, greeting cards and other useful services.
