Good response to OTI computer course

MUSCAT — Oman Training Institute (OTI), one of the leading institutes in the Sultanate, has successfully completed conducting in-depth computer courses by Tariq Hilal Al Barwani, an IT expert.

The institutes received tremendous response as well as excellent feedback from the trainees.

During Tariq’s vacation from his studies in Canada, he was approached by the institute requesting him to conduct computer courses such as C++, Java, FrontPage, Access, Visual Basic and MS-Outlook. Tariq accepted the offer. The trainees were a mixture of locals and expatriates.

Tariq, apart from conducting the course, prepared a weekly test and a final examination for each course.

He asked the students to prepare a project for their final examination.

Emma Berceles, the director of studies, stated: “Tariq has given OTI trainees a remarkable rendition. His teaching techniques were candid and appealing, using visual aids.”

Abdulla Suleiman Al Shammakhi, managing director added: “Tariq did his best in sharing his knowledge and experience with his trainees.”

Tariq will be leaving today for Canada to continue his studies.
