Mazoon College
unveils English Arabic website
MUSCAT — Mazoon College for
Management and Applied Sciences has launched its first English and Arabic
website in Oman. The website is hosted and maintained by Tariq bin Hilal
AI Barwani. The website can be accessed at www.mazooncollege.com.
Mazoon College for Management and Applied Sciences was established in
1999. The main objective of this website is to make available a wide range
of high quality English-medium college degree programmes in Oman. The
college is exclusively for women, although its evening programmes are open
to all. The college currently offers five two-year associate degree
programmes in Accounting, Busi-ness Administration, Manage-ment
Information Systems, Computer Science, and Busi-ness English. The
college’s academic affiliation agreement is with the University of
Missouri-Rolla (UMR) in the US.
The dean of the college, Dr. Juma Al Ghailani, said: “Our website,
www.mazooncollege. com, has been designed using the latest in Internet
technologies and features which provides information such as our profile,
programmes and courses, facilities, and contact details. The website can
be accessed both in English as well as Arabic.”
The dean also added: “I chose Tariq to develop our website because of his
exceptional talents, professionalism and previous experience in the same
field.”
Tariq Al Barwani said: “Developing the first English and Arabic website in
Oman for a private college is one of the activities I have done during my
vacation. I feel my vacation time has been well utilised.”
